September 2012

Zeke played in his 2nd grand final. Unfortunately it wasn't a win but he played a great game. We are very proud of you Ezekiel!!
We celebrated fathers day. I made my Dad a coconut ice heart tree
This is Ezaria's first ever drawing. I had run out of wrapping paper so used kitchen wax paper that we all decorated. Fathers day is big at our house. All the kids had presents to give. We let Dad sleep in and then all go in so he can open presents in bed!
Decorating, every 5 minutes they ask if they can go in yet and wake him up

 This is Essence's present
outside the girls play while we finish getting ready to head up to Grandpa's for brunch

Ezaria- dressed like an angel ready to fight like a warrior!

The boys cooking the bbq for the Dad's
Father and daughter, hand in hand
some fun on the rocking horse
poor essence looks a little squished
Most days this is what I am greeted with when Ewan gets home from school. He is the sweetest boy!
Bella had her first day of preschool. She didn't cry at all. Just waved me off. I didn't cry either but I think I would have if it wasn't for Jay leaving me with no petrol in the car and it running out as I was driving across the traffic lights. I had to take Bella up in Andrews car. She wasn't happy with that and said the seat didn't feel right. Anyway she had a good day and was excited to go back again.
7 eleven had a bring your own container day to fill up with the slurpies. Ethan and Zeke both filled up huge containers. It was too much and even with everyone sharing it didn't all get eaten. Next year we will take an esky!

For Hayley and Sarah's birthday I made some lemon meringue pie.
I met Hayley at Koorong in her lunch break and had coffee and pie with only Zari
Zari hanging out in the trolley munching on her apple
I bought a cake for Sarah just in case she wasn't a fan of the lemon meringue pie
 Bella's hair done all pretty

 and Esse

A love note from her Daddy - she loved it, so so sweet
Bela is enjoying having curly hair after having plaits or braids
Happy birthday to Jay! We made him a toblerone cheesecake for his birthday
 it was so good
we went out for dinner without the kids. Zari slept the whole time so she did really well for being left for the first time.
We have had so many mandarins this year. Ezaria found one and ate it. Love her face!

 Bike riding outside
With Bella at preschool two days a week, Essence has had to keep herself occupied. She really misses Bella but it's been nice to watch her play her own games...I videoed her playing and it took her over 5 minutes to notice me
this was the Daddy and he was always on the toilet (I wonder why LOL)
Ezaria climbed in the pram so Esse thought she would take her for a ride
Bella out the front of preschool with some aboriginal artwork painted on her face
We went and visited the Edwards for Auri's birthday
 Happy 3rd birthday Aurora
All of the yummy party food

It's always so nice to go for a catch up with such great friends, the girls and I also surprised mum when we dropped in for a visit after
Walking back from the shops one day, I love my children so much (Ethan is missing and Zari was in the sling)
We were on A Current Affair. Thanks to Jay for nominating us. They came out and filmed a normal morning for us and I spoke to them about washing powder (something I did not want to do, thanks Jay). Anyway the kids had fun. I was so stressed and hated every bit of it but the final cut which aired that night turned out not too bad and we got lots of free washing powder out of it and a gift card (and a clean yard!).
 Playing with balls outside

Essence is our little girl. We can't call her a baby or a big girl or she gets very upset and tells us she is a little girl. She is super cute right now!
We bought some new shoes and Esse had to have a photo with them
 blurry but a special moment
 girls got new swimmers
 Zari had her own sushi
 and Esse just being cute
The boys had jump rope on at school (except poor Zeke who was home sick)
no photo's of their skipping just video but they were cute

We had cupcakes at playgroup for Ezaria's first birthday

matching girls
I plaited Bella's hair. Her hair is so fine and so thin this took much longer than I thought but she did well and sat still.

 Ezaria's yummy birthday cake
Happy first birthday to my baby girl

We went to cables wake board park to celebrate and also to celebrated Grandpa's birthday (happy birthday Dad)
I still don't have the photo's from Jays camera but will update when I do
 the cutest little bum

Ezaria had a wonderful first birthday playing peek a boo in the afternoon

We had Zari's cake smash (photo's to follow)
I thought essence had gone missing as we couldn't find her and she was not answering us when we were calling her...ended up finding her asleep on the lounge in the kitchen! Poor baby was sick with tonsilitis
Zari stole Bella's ice block and wouldn't give it back
Elijah went to the farm in the first week of the holidays with Isaac and Mum and Dad and I took the rest of the kids to visit Leticia and her family in Kiama.
The girls watching a barbie movie
Raina playing with Zari before she got sick!
Even though the weather wasn't great we went to the beach and the kids got to play in the sand and get their feet wet

Ewan got croup, Raina threw up, Esse was still not 100%, Leticia had sinus, Aaliyah was coughing, Ethan got nits (well discovered he had nits)and I woke up with a runny nose but it was still a good trip!
Back home Bella found this dress in her wardrobe. She loves it. She loves anything that is pretty with flowers on it. She wore it for 3 days in a row!
I just love how caring Ewan is with Zari
We went for a walk down to the river. Ewan thought it was so cool to go on the dock
Zari is growing up too fast. She thinks she is one of the bigger girls. They had headbands on and put one on her, when I went to take it off she cried! She loves them and kept trying to put more on her head.

September has been a month full of birthdays. We have had lots of fun. Not everything is captured on camera though and I find I forget what has happened with out a photo to jog my memory. Its currently school holidays at the moment so there is only one term left before the end of the year!
