memories worth keeping: September 2012

Boys were back at school this month so it was pretty much back to normal routine at home here with the girls.

Ezekiel went on the Way down south band tour and the poor boy got the vomit bug while he was away. Not sure if he bought it back but we all got it. It was terrible and totally wiped all of us out. Luckily Zari only threw up once and Jay was lucky enough to not throw up at all (though he got the "egg" burps for a couple of weeks). Poor Bella and Elijah passed out on the lounge.

Ethna was fighting it but ended up going down. He was the first to throw up everywhere (the younger ones all got it in the bucket excpet Ewan). All over the kitchen floor as he was trying hard to not be sick haha it doesn't work that way!

My poor sick Essence. On top of the vomit bug she got tonsilitis and suspected pnuemonia. We didn't get xrayed so it may not have been. She was very sick though :(

It is so hard when little ones are sick and there is not much you can do to make them feel better.

Ezekiel made it to the zone carnival for long jump. We went and watched him jump.

Ezaria got another ear infection. first bubba to have one and she gets 3 in 2 months!

She is happy to play and get into everything.

We went and visited Nanny and Pa while the boys were at school one Monday

The boys had book week at school. This years theme was the olympic champions. They could come as any sporting hero or champion. They all went as football players as they are champions.

Poor Bella would not get in the photo and anded up falling backward and hurting her bottom. I had to include this photo so she would know how difficult she can be when she doesn't want to do something

Elijah and Ezekiel slept over at school while they did a 24 hour bible read-a-thon

Zari found a dummy and thought it felt good to chew so carried it around with her for a while. She loves to stash everything in her little pram and takes it with her wherever she goes. I have found remotes, food, cups, DVDs anything really in here!

Essence has been doing swimming lessons since Feb and is really loving it, Her teachers name is Sarah.

Bella has just moved up to the next swimming class where she is learning freestyle and diving.

Thursdays are lovely mornings. Swimming and then home for a nice long warm bath while I put Zari to bed.

Bella got new goggles so she can do back float properly

I had to pick Jay up from the station one afternoon and laughed so hard when I saw him walk over. dressed like he was 18. He then got in the back seat of the car...I think he thinks he is 18!

Jay and I celebrated our 14 year anniversary on the 18th. We went out to a chocolate cafe with Leanne and Jason.

after church one day the boys decided to climb trees. Elijah and Ewan are quite good friends when Elijah is being nice. They miss each other when the other one isn't around.

Elijah and his little sisters walking home from Grandma's and Grandpa's, he is such a good big brother to those girls. Actually all of my boys are so good with the girls. They are kind and caring and are always making sure they are ok. I am proud of my boys! Even Ewan who is only a bit older than Bella will make sure she is ok.

I love it when the kids are actually playing and being kids, swinging in trees is fun!

Jay swapped a photo shoot (or two) for this game machine which all the boys think is pretty cool! Just realised the back of Ethan's hoody looks a little but scary!

These two will sleep anywhere. They both fall asleep on the lounge pretty much every single night!

Bella and Esse went with Mum and Dad to visit my grandparents. While they were gone I made two lemon meringue pies

Zari loves her Daddy so much. I love seeing how much they love each other

The weather was so nice we spent a lot of it outside in the sun. With winter almost over it was nice to get outside. Bella made a little picnic up for the girls.

I love that Zari can join in now. It is so sweet. And that is my Chloe that I grew up with. I slept with my doll every night and took her everywhere and now my girls play with her!

Ezaria had her first swimming lesson. Its a mums and bubs class and she loved it. I loved it.

Bella rode a bike (with no training pedals) for the first time. We have it on video but no picture. she did really well but can't start by herself.

Elijah has had a few days off with sickness and dentist appointments.

Zari enjoyed some pasta and loves to drink out of her straw cup. She mostly loves to spit out!

Ethan got all of his beautiful hair cut off. He went in for a trim but they cut it really bad so the next day we had to go and get it fixed. It's short again the way he had it a few years ago.

We had orientation for Bella's preschool. The teacher painted her face and made her a pirate hat. She loved it and will be going two days a week for the rest of the year in preperation for big school. She asked if she could please go.
